Volunteering for experiences!

Hey heyyyy!!! (sounds like I'm talking to myself)

I have got another volunteering job as a photographer for a non-profit organization! woohoo!! Whilst, my previous volunteering days are almost over at the first non-profit organization.... I really had loads of fun, especially my supervisor, she's absolutely awesome! She gave me flowers, assuming that I will not be able to continue volunteering next year! (actually, I could if the warehouse weren't moving THAT farawayyy) I could continue to volunteer however, it would be expensive just to travel.... can't risk that until I have a paying job.

Everyone I met is very nice. The person who interviewed me said the photo samples I took gives a very happy vibe.... hmmm.... I wonder if I do take happy photos...? then again, photos does say more than just a thousand meanings.

This non-profit organization that I will be working for is based in Hawthorn, Victoria. Although most of their meet ups are around the city, which is good for me cause the means of travelling on weekdays will be taxing for me. Without a actual paying job, monetary means for travel or eating outside will be limited. (that is why I love coupon/discount shopping on Groupon/CatchoftheDay/Scoopon)

Photographer ay? I have to start somewhere too.

I got my first volunteering job!!

Volunteering in Australia!

Something about the enthusiasm in volunteering spirit here that makes you want to come back to work again the following week. It's the people you meet and get to know, makes you feel like you belong there. And hearing stories from elderly persons talk about their volunteering experiences that goes all the way back to 30 plus years!! AMAZING!

The Voice Australia : My best choice!

Here i was watching The Blind Audtions one fine Sunday... and this girl, plain old jane-ish, really WOWed me off the sofa... her voice is unique and belting it out like a celtic-ish singer... although her looks could have been country like... I have to give it to her. No one can do this... like this good. Soothing  voice I would say. Here's a clip to that moment... Celia Pavey

And then, this other boyish-dude, whose voice reminds me so much of John Mayor's "Daughters"... Iguess i'm a sucker for soothing voice. I'm rooting for both of them just because I think they will make it big someday. Here's a clip to that moment... Alex Gibson

I try to follow the shows here as often but with the TELLY DEAD (Yes, the telly died - it wont start anymore... after some 10+ years... it has to RIP someday...), I can't do much except go on YouTube to watch it.... AFTER THE LIVE VERSIONS..... T_______________T

To follow the Voice Australia - Just subscribe to their page on YouTube!

I don't watch American Idols since Kelly Clarkson won, I thought I would go back and watch it before Simon left, the show was prolly not as interested anymore, and without Simon Cowell as the nasty and sarcastic judge, the show just lost its touch.... No offence (to AI fans), with the current judges, I think it's gotten worst! Just my TWOCENTS worth!

THE VOICE AUSTRALIA...

I have found a new hobby. American Idol lasted for 12 years and it's still growing strong... I have decided to tune into THE VOICE.... season 2

The judges are soooOOOoo funny! And it's NOT dramatic like American Idol judges. Maybe American Idol is getting boring... STAY TUNED!

Drama Addict...

So Autumn is here... but it's a FOUR season weather!!! Sometimes cold, sometimes hot, sometimes windy, sometimes raining (showers) .... I'm (soooOOOoo) gonna get used to the weather!

So what productive things have I done lately. Catch up with OLD Korean dramas.... (okay, not that old) What else can I do, like really? Oh I have to study for my driving license soon. (GAHHH!!!!)

Anyway, here is what I have been watching...

AND because I was too FREE. I decided to watch the JAPANESE Remake too... sadly... The korean A.N.JELL boyband has won hands down! Such a heathrobe and soooOOooo manly!!! (MELT)... Now I don't know how old they are, but I'm assuming that they are pretty young (which makes me a pedophile... OTL... i think...)

But the lead singer... OMGGGG he's pretty good looking for an EMO dude. Whyyyyyyyy~!

SO here is the Japanese version... Ikemen Desu's A.N. JELL

The characters are no doubt funny... But they all look so adorable and cute like KIDS!!! (gahhhh!!)
Song wise are pretty similar for certain tracks but Korean version are more into the singing more, therefore there are more songs compared to the Japanese version who basically tried to remake the whole drama from a slightly serious comedy to a completely comic parody!

Have to admit that the show focuses on turning into a boy from a girl, and how a boy can confuses for falling for another "boy" and they highlighted on "gay" relationships briefly but in a comic style. It's an eye opener especially for the Japanese culture (or maybe I was outdated.. as I have been out of the Japanese culture for a very long time) Usually they don't really focus on same sexuality preference, but I guess because it has been a big thing around the world, I guess it's good that they would accepted it so openly.

I really don't know what i am talking about. LALALALALA~!

On another note, AirAsia is having a sale for Hotels and Flights from April 9 to May 19, 2013 for traveling from April 9 to June 30, 2013! It's a deal breaker from what I can see and I definitely believe that this is wayyy cheaper than a tour agent or matta fair.. because the hotels are 4 - 5 stars rating... ~!

But I couldn't help to notice how Air Asia, Australia Market their flights ... Poor Richard Brandson for losing that BET!

Here is why....

Original Picture from Air Asia, Australia.

AHAHAHAHA!!! He got so troll-ed on. I'm sure he's gonna look stunning in that RED Jacket and Skirt suit. (I wish it would be a pant suit, for the sane mind)

Till the next random rant! Cheerio~!

Still in the midst of settling down for good. Weather today. HOT and then it's getting COLD now. geez~!.... Happy Four Seasons, Melbourne!!!

Autumn for Good... Daylight Savings OVER!

I guess Autumn has finally decided to stay... by April 7th 2013, Daylight savings will be over and it will be 2 hours difference... yayyy (not too laggy, i think - never experienced it before... ) Different regions of Australia is different.... or the same... hmmm not too sure...

Weather has been rather bleak lately, cold and showers (literally) down under... rain is never gonna be the same for me... used to hear loud thunderstorms and heavy down pour, raindrops actually ringing the floor tiles back home... and now when it's raining... it's LIGHT and raindrops sprinkling at your face just like standing in front of a garden sprinkler on purpose... the surroundings may look wet, but when you walk under it, you don't feel wet, just cold and chilly.

I guess that FOUR SEASONS, in one day, Melbourne for ya. =D

The city is alot smaller than I have expected it to be... went out for lunch with my ex high-school mate down at Flinder's Lane and Exhibition Street... it only took me about 10 mins walk from one end of the city to the other side.. (this refers to the shorter length of the rectangular city) it doesn't seem that far, or maybe I was walking really fast....? I dunno, I can't drag myself when everything around you is moving so rapidly. Perhaps back home, it was slower and chilax-ing... I dunno, perhaps, I was a normal speed, and everyone else here is chilax-ing making me feel like I'm running around too fast! (self ranting.. lalalalaaaa~)

Summer is officially over!!!

I think. Lalalaaaaaa~!

Annnywaayyyyy..... I had to be locked down for two days at home to wait for my package from FedEx. It was supposed to arrive yesterday but received a call saying they couldn't send it around 630pm. So I guess they are pretty reliable... If I didnt call them first to inquire where is my package.... But oh well...

The view of Flinder's Station at night... a pretty fantastic view I must admit. (these photos are already on my instagram  account: littlemissqueenofnonsense

It's cold out todayyyyy... Let's have a hot chocolate! Weeeeeeeeee~!
